Contra Dance at UM
On the first Saturday in November, the Missoula Folklore Society joins with the UM Environmental Studies Program to bring a high energy & earth friendly event to the UM campus -- contra dancing.

This fun and easy old-time community dance is a great workout, and we teach you the dances as we go. No partner nor dance experience needed.

COST:
$5 for MFS members & UM students
$7 for others.

TIME:
  7:30 p.m. -- Beginner's Workshop    (recommended for newcomers--it    will increase your fun);
  8:00 -11:00 pm -- Dance

WHERE: University Center Ballroom (3rd floor of University Center)
MUSIC: Live music from Sleeping Child String Band. Lively Irish and Appalachian fiddle music.
